東京に店を出す事を夢見て、上京してきた料理人の柴田孝雄。情熱があり努力もしているこの好青年を隣家に住む広瀬夫婦も応援していた。しかし、孝雄には欠点があった。それは極度の味音痴。本人は気付かず頑張っていたが一つの目標としていた料理コンクールの前日、彼女に味音痴を指摘された孝雄は自分を見失ってしまうのだった。そんな孝雄を見て、奈々美は残り1日、彼を手助けしたいと心に決める。夫に偽りの手紙を残して…。
