爽やかな朝。貞淑なる美人母・八木あずさはその日も、もうすぐ起床してくる息子・タツオちゃんの為に、朝食の支度に追われていた。早くに夫を亡くし、母子家庭にて暮らしていた。年頃を迎えた愛する息子が引き篭もりの不登校になってしまったのは、私の育て方が間違っていたのかしらと、母は胸を痛めていた。今朝もまた、不機嫌そうにトーストを頬張りつつ、至極当然のような顔をしてこう訊かれた。「母さん今日もハイレグ着てるよね？どんなのか僕に見せてよ！！」…と。
