明治時代の日本。寂れた長屋に引っ越してきた家族3人。部屋の奥の壁には不気味な「ひび」。家賃の安さに惹かれて借りた父親は上機嫌だが、妻は不気味な雰囲気に怯えている。幼い娘は不気味な「ひび」に何かを感じている。そして一家の周りに現れる怪しげな人々。何かを探る盲目の老婆、何かを隠す長屋の老夫婦。その「ひび」に隠された忌まわしい過去とは…？遂に、戦慄と恐怖が一家に襲いかかる！
