平穏に過ごす人妻、可奈子。だが夫が職を失い、失意の果てにこの世を去ってしまう。愛する夫を失った可奈子は、夫の父の元を訪ねる。夫に似た義父の温かさに安堵した可奈子は、体が弱い義父を介護して暮らすのだが、次第に義父に夫の姿を重ねてしまう。そして愛した夫の体を求めるように、義父の体も求め始めるのだった…。
