三年前に夫が亡くなり、女手一つで家業の蕎麦屋を経営している沢口愛子。息子の宏彰は蕎麦屋を継ぐ気はなく、調理専門学校の卒業を控えていた。そんなある日、愛子が温泉旅行に行こうと宏彰を誘った…「ウチの蕎麦はここから仕入れているの。宏彰は生きたいように生きなさい」そして二人は、夢のような一泊二日を過ごすのだった。
